i like the legacy graphics i know they arent easy on the eyes to some but if u render legacy in 4k high refresh rate and u run it in a very small window in window mode it looks amazing, but i cant find a way to lock the cursor to the game while its in window mode… any ideas would be much appreciated… i legit tried -lockcursor line command lol didnt work… wait doesnt diablo 3 have a lock cursor checkbox option in settings or am i thinking of a different game… i swear some game i use to play does this
Search online for “Cursor Lock” or “Cursor Lock for Multiple Monitors”,
and you should find de way.

yoooo legit i just googled after ur post and legit in like 5mins of tweaking got it to work thanks brotha appreciate that now i can play d2r almost like its plugy thanks again

how do you run in 4k but have the game run in a really small window? Do you mean your desktop resolution is 4k and you are running it in a much lower resolution windowed? Makes my brain hurt the way people explain/do things.
glide is a program people use for d2 LOD allows u to upscale the game to 4k … now d2r doesnt have this for the legacy graphics… but it seems if ur resolution on d2r graphics is set to 4k… then when u switch to legacy it seems to render the old graphics in 4k…now when u use dynamic resolution in nvidia and set it to 4k and u run d2r in a small window the image gets crisper the smaller the window… all the og plugy players play this way… LLAMA is actually who i learned it from… now im not 100% it renders legacy in 4k if ur regular mode is set there but to my eye it does seem it does… also i know dsr is not as good as real 4k but it does look a lot better… so for any of u small windowed og d2 players still wanna play that way i found a way to make it work graphics get better but i just cant tell 100% is running upscaled like plugy does
I also find that original D2 looks better full screen than Ressurected in legacy mode because most monitors wlil apply scaling and soften the giant pixels a bit. It makes it look a little nicer, and actually makes the text easier to read.
like when llama used to play LOD he would play with a very tiny window so it would look nice along with plugy that allows the game to overall look better
I think you are very confused and so am I. But I’m glad you have it working the way you like. Although I think you are adding in steps that aren’t needed.
he played in window mode because he was streaming the game, not because it looked better. guarantee you can ask him.
if u run LOD with glide it renders the game at what ur desktop resolution is… if i run 1080p small screen its nice… if i run 4k small window it looks better than 1080p small window so idk what it does but it does make the game look nicer
if you are running in window its not being rendered at 1080, 4k etc. So that is what I’m confused about. Lets say you have your desktop resolution set to 4k. If you run a game in window mode and it’s not covering the whole screen, its not rendering in 4k.
u run it in window but then u make it really small like imagine a tiny little squared screen like u could fit 4 of em on ur screen id say if u use like a 32 inch or 28 or anything close to this… i know it doesnt render that way but somehow u can see the diff between 1080p and 4k this way i swear… unless im just imagining but i swear maybe someone who uses plugy could give an opinion i suck with tech and explaining things… also btw ur wrong the game looks better in a small window with glide then it does full screen
which means its not running in 4k, its like running in 1280x800
i know its weird man but if i set my desktop to 4k that small window looks better than if my desktop was 1080p i swear i cant explain it… youre not wrong tho man i know what ur saying… i think it may be how glide works it does have a lot of options
So it seems like you want the game to look crisp and clear, so why not just play in 4k remastered graphics

i wish… if i could 4k 144hz new graphics i might consider but i have a mid grade pc… but theres something about the legacy graphics its like an updated rpg version of doom or something you know what im saying… dont get me wrong the new art is nice… but ill always prefer the old graphics unless im running in groups… legacy graphics 8 people rooms will destroy ur eyes… good night to u as well… btw u are wrong about llama he played small window cuz it looks better… go play lod plugy with glide and u will see like im doing it right now i have proof lol cmon wheres my og plugy users to back me up i know yall here wheres jedi at… prolly mad cuz i yelled at him last time… jedi im sorry come tell me small window glide looks better than fullscreen plz… it looks better because full screen spreads the pixels out thats why… it like stretches everything
