- Attack rating from Claw mastery should work for Blade Fury.
- Remove targeting mechanic; skill stops channeling when targeted mob dies. We don’t need this and there is no purpose for having this. It just makes the skill clunky.
- Introduce Blade fury Piercing? Ricochet? Anything that makes the build be able to compete with Throw barb’s clear speed or just every other better performing builds?
If not, make/remove: - Blade sentinel’s NHD to 0.25/sec and projectile speed faster and bigger. Also remove cast delay. Anything that would make the skill reliable as an aoe skill.
Lastly: - Blade shield should not reduce weapon durability. Period.
I would like some more rune words creatable in claws. Crescent Moon and Steel personally. I would also like a change to Leaf to work in claws, and for Warmth to apply to everyone not Sorc Only. Also, allow Zephyr to be made in Claws. Give claws some dang love already.
Also, Fire Fist should get new Synergies with Fire Blast and Lighting Claws should get new Synergies with Shock Web. Make it a descent % too, like 20% damage or something.
Have you seen Plague? This is an Assassin’s best friend. The only thing better than plague is a gg rare fools claw and that is subjective.
you know we need more then late game claws right? noticed 2 of the three runewords i mentioned are sub lvl 20? There is a reason lol.
With zero unique normal difficulty claws you either use malice, strength or try to get a rare. I havent tried pattern yet however. Still I think having more options for claws would be better then not.
Itemization is not a problem as far as I know. It’s just the skill mechanics and restrictions that kills the build and its potential. At the end of the day, when there are far better build options and classes for pvm, why use and invest heavily on Bladesin? I just want bladesin to not be an after-thought but something that’s matters in the end-game level pvm.
Can you please post your suggestions here?
Thanks
You can but have you tried cleglaw set? It will carry you through hell mode!
To those who think eth Death is #1, eth Fortitude Legendary Mallet offers so much more! Also eth Doom is excellent. There is no question though, claws are the best way to go with blade skills. The + damage per level is so worth it!
For pvm its really hard to beat nats claw…
Sure, I would but it’s too rowdy in that post haha. I think that there could be improvement for itemization surrounding blade-sin build but for now, I think that they should tweak the three skills so that the overall build can compete with other pvm classes/builds rather than just making it because it looks cool.
Since ladder has not reseted yet my items look like this…

It doesnt matter its my topic to gather ideas how to improve assassin for my offline mod. Ignore others, i value any ideas there.
Ok I just reposted my post as a reply. You’re welcome!
Thank you it help me to keep ideas in one place as i never played assassin that much so i need some ideas how to make her better as my knowledge of how usefull her skills are is limited.
Check out my build/take on the Bladesin. The only thing waiting im changing for that is when the ladder resets and i get my hands on an Eth suwwyah/sci suwwayah base withg +3 blade fury with a near perfect roll on plague. d2.maxroll.gg/d2planner/um010647#8
The awkward wind-up to blade fury also needs to go. I won’t use the skill because of that… so my bladesin mained the sentinel skill instead. Being locked into one location while channeling is bad enough on its own…
I did not enjoy blade sentinel much because of that casting delay. It is already limited to 5 like other traps, but it is more awkward because of the lack of auto-aiming and lack of range, slow move speed, etc.
All in all, I found the latest version of the blade skills to be a huge let down.
Exactly! But you also see a huge untapped potential right? Not to mention sentinel also uses trap counter so you have to mind how many you lay if you use death sentry as well. The wind-up is just there for absolutely no reason. I hate it.
