I had an Annihilus in my inventory during the night. Today I logged in and it had dissappeared!

I’m sorry to be the one to point this out – but your annihilus was most likely a dupe, so blame whoever traded it to you, or rather, the source. I am not saying there’s no possibility for a new bug to exist where loot can disappear, but this has been the case since day one. Items with duplicated ID’s are simply bound to disappear.
I thought dupe items was not possible on D2R. But if it is, I know the person I got it from.

They absolutely are. That dark side of D2 definitely carried over to Resurrected, the devs didn’t/couldn’t fix much regarding these huge holes. The economy is already a mess and there’s tons of people with disappearing items. It’s quite sad tbh.
