Can anyone at Blizzard PLEASE fix the stupid legacy bug that includes triggering Dodge/Avoid negating the rest of your attacks when using Strafe/Fend on the Amazon? It’s pretty pathetic that it hasn’t been addressed in any patch on the original D2, and with Resurrected you had the perfect opportunity to fix this before launch and yet you didn’t. The community has been asking for this fix (and many others) for DECADES and it’s pissing a lot of us off that we’re being ignored. Why pay $40 for a 20-year old game with the same freaking bugs as the original?
I totally agree - I get that this is a remaster and they wanted/needed to stay faithful to the original, but this bug fix could have been on the quality of life improvements together with gold autopickup and shared stash.
Unless this fix required a serious look into game mechanics, I don´t understand why it´s still kept in the game. Don´t say it´s because nostalgia
Yeah, they should really fix this bug. I am still going to make an amazon with fend to see how it goes though. I have read up on the build on some site where there were some tips to lessen the impact of the bug but that is not a good enough solution at all. We need a permanent fix for it. I mean why keep a skill useless due to some bug when fixing the bug would let people experience a different build than they are used to? Why even have the skill there if the skill is gonna be useless (obviously don’t remove it but fix it please)? Also, Fend needs a synergy with some other skill I think to keep it viable in hell difficulty. Like Zeal for paladins have.
This is the Next Hit Always Miss bug that they claimed was just a server sync problem that they fixed but they actually did not fix it.
This needs fixed along with Dodging in general animation locking you. At the very least the animation should be improved by Faster Hit Recovery.
Has this been fixed?
Nope, dodge / avoid / evade perma-lock and auto-miss are alive and well >_<
They really need to hire newer, better programmers if the current frat-bunch cannot fix this.
