Zon really isnt 2nd best at anything. Only first best. Honestly playing any other class for anything other than meme’ing is wasting time.

id challenge you on the fastest cow clearer and never die part on my 105% fcr infinity wielding nova sorc. Ive killed a lvl 95 zon while i was 92, with 3 novas, that hosted on a baal run
for example, here’s a video of what we’d consider a slow run from an average skilled player clearing cows on an Amazon.

pretty sure AMAZONI is the champion easily. We already know for fact that /players 8 is undeniably Amazon for ure 100%, but i will allow you to contest players 1 in this case.
that really is a slow run, all the running shes doing, slow teleporting and not even one shotting alot of them. My runs are def faster than that. Fast AF teleporting into packs, 3 novas in half a second then on to the next pack.

Her biggest drawbacks are repair frequency and the fact that she cannot have as much MF on her without sacrificing too much power. Her fcr is terrible as well.
well for one, i know you’re wrong, i am VERY experienced with nova, and I’d have might have given you a TIE if you had said FROST NOVA, but lightning nova is slower and it is not as fast as Amazon at all. It does take more than 3 novas to kill a hell cow even in player 1, so i guess we’re back to square one.
Amazon is the king of cow speeds, Frost Nova is pretty fast on players 1 though and depending on maps could possibly win a couple runs.
Frost nova is literally faster. I am the frost nova Queen and you are in for the surprise of your life when you see a Frost nova sorc that know how to play this game like me.
Am I the only one who doesn’t care about power? Give me a Leap Attack Barb or Melee Necro or Blade Fury Sin or anything cool and awesome over some standard cookie cutter no one cares about you because you’re the same as everyone else sort of build. What’s the point of being God if you’re not enjoying it? I’d much rather be a Mortal and live the good life.
with my gear it is ~3 novas to kill a pack. im using an almost perfect griffon, WIELDING infinity, perfect nova ormus, 5/5 facets. i have -82% enemy light res on gear on top of the conviction aura and 7 skillers. you might be used to a different build if 3 novas is hard to believe. 105% is also the second fastest fcr possible for nova
So what, play and have fun. Unless you just play this game as just a PvPfest, you can’t call out for game balance when the majority of the game is Co-op and single player.
Unless they change a class skill set when they switch to PvP MODE, it’s just going to make the game unfun for the rest of us that plays together or solo.
Who cares if class A out DPS class B, if all classes can be fun clearing bosses and runs, isn’t that the goal ?
What… have you played all 7 characters with end game gear? Javazons are very middle pack, arguably only better at PvM than Druids… Trapsin, Hammerdin, WW/Frenzy/Zerk, Summoner/PNova, and any Sorc build are all quicker at MFing and clearing out alvl 85s but admittedly Javazons are either #1 or #2 when it comes to clearing cows. As mentioned Amazons have garbage FCR breakpoints so all other classes are so much better teleporting around.
As for PvP…not going to get into it since so many posters on this forum are completely clueless at PKing.
Honestly the game is so flawed, broken, unbalanced mess and is also skill-less and not fun. It’s just robotic - a game for robots with absolute zero skill involved. Its current state is a sorry state but still you would have people writing poems to it. Mostly people who abuse it or never really played any other decent game.
Take D3 for example, it’s way more skilled and the combat is way more fun. I dropped D2R for it and I have never been happier. D2 was never great but it was our first ARPG so we have that special nostalgia glasses when looking at it, but trying other games and looking at it objectively you can see how mediocre at best it is.
It’s no wonder Blizzard are already not investing much into this product, and are focusing on DI and DIV. Great choices, to be frank, as this needed a full remake to even be relevant today. This should just go into maintenance mode where they auto reset the Ladder for them every 4 months. Can’t wait for Blizzard’s future projects!
The trolls haha. I mean I remember playing at first, it was hard as nails but years later I built like 4 classes in 10 days and maxed out their gear, what a joke, just to mindless hit a button in a mindless runs were the goal was to fight though the same maps I did in game but now with ponies sometimes, with a timer. I mean how is that in improvement? Does it take skill to mindless toss shields, or hit your special button over and over like it is Gauntlet Darker Legacy? D2 is about farming, if you do not like it, go the hell back to D3. You’re mindless spamming buttons no matter what.
