So was thinking about changing my Amazon build from Tankazon to Elemental Bowazon using Freezing Arrow and Exploding Arrow with Valk support. Seeing from maxroll that it can get very high damage with Faith runeword and Infinity Merc, but was wondering how viable it actually is. Also, how much points to invest in Valk support.
I recently beat hell with my Frostmaiden (freezing arrow bowazon) with my Merc using insight and me using faith. I was able to strafe down cold immunes reasonably well with a modest investment into guided arrow and strafe.
For exploding arrow, this will require maxing out 2 skills to get this one somewhat feasible, and even then youâll likely use freezing arrow most of the time.

I wouldnât recommend going dual element on a bowa. With an Ice build, youâll get a lot more mileage out of physical as a secondary damage source.
I agree. Iâve played mix frost/fire and it was no problem to play hell with cheap melody runeword on a +2 bow base .
But frost is way more fun than fire. I would try frost/strafe next time too. Frost as primary skill and strafe just for immunes.
Remember you can switch weapons and use for example melody for frost and switch to wws for strafe.
The frostmaiden dont need faith or ice to kill fast enough.
Well, max the Valk and get some gear with either +Amazon skills or +Passive skills. The thought behind the valk is to have her as a âbaitâ.
If you can not find the right and rare runes, killing bosses is really a matter of time, no miracles without âoptimizedâ gear.
Concerning bows, how to make the build is is really up to chance and what you find.
