I’m pretty sure the now-removed stickied post about the no longer applicable AVX issue said that even though it was only affecting systems below requirements, they were looking into it anyway. Don’t know if you can dig up unstickied posts to confirm/deny this…
EDIT: Yep, not having AVX was beneath minimum requirements, but they fixed it anyway: Advanced Vector Extensions Issue Update as of 10.5 “While CPUs without AVX are below our minimum spec, we want to try to ensure as many people as possible can play.”
