Just wondering if anyone has any ideas when the Single Player Alpha testing when begin and how many people you think will get accepted to try it as well. I Tend to check the Official D2R website and I opt’d in the first minute it was announced at Blizzcon and sometimes even when logged in it gives me the option as to opt in again as if I never have and a couple days later resets and does the same thing. Is this a glitch or am I just constantly getting denied and that’s the way of knowing or not? lol
As for a date we have no idea, and that has happened to me as well. I just check it everyday to make sure I’m opt in 
I do the same thing now. I was just wondering if that was happening to me alone or just in general. Thanks!!
Short answer: Soon™.
Long answer: When the developers feel the game is ready for testing, they have gone through the process of selecting the alpha testers from the pool of applicants, and they have plenty of coffee ready to go.
Technically it could happen anytime.

Check this page out. They released a video thats hidden showing a still image of the april fools joke of 1999. Not sure if they are hinting that the alpha is coming out then or what. Just some speculation ya know

Yeah it’s strange. I’m not clearing my cache or cookies, It just seems almost as if every 24-48 hours it just resets its self. Even though my account is still logged into Blizzard with my username in the corner. Apparently it’s been happening to other people. I’m just wondering now if it’s almost Blizzard just trying to see who’s really devoted for the Alpha or not and if they see i’ve registered set amount of days since it was announced hopefully that will up my chances? That’s just a wild guess and hope lol
Got a email today from Blizzard was like oh sh*t here we go !!! Nope Shadowlands 20% off. Oh the disappointment. Better luck next time.

Exact thing happens to me regardless of my platform, my desktop, my laptop, even my phone, all reset that part
Same happens to me so I just keep opting in
It was doing this for me too every couple days until i cleared my cache/cookies, logged out completely and closed down browser. Then re-logged in again and refreshed the D2R page. Now its suddenly showing up when i re-log to test it.
You guys dont have to worry about that. Its a simple thing. When you open up the page you are not logged in yet (Check the top right corner), so the website does not know if you are already opted in. When you click on the button or your cookies are being loaded (with your saved login informations) than the page refreshes and shows you that you are already opted in.
So as soon as you are logged in, its being showed that you registered for the Alpha.
I don’t know about that it says I’m logged in and I still have to opt in daily
On the first Screenshot above for Example Perusoe is definietly not logged in.
Well if for you its the case in every browser, even after the Cache/Cooike clearing, than you should be happy, maybe you have the chance to opt-in multiple times.
