Allow D2R to run multiple game in one PC

I know we can run multiple D2R if you change files but fk that

I can run multiple WOW but not D2R?? why???

because WOW is subscription based??

Perhaps they don’t optimize D2:R to run multiple instances of the game like WoW does because it was never intended to be played that way. Also, they want as many subs for WoW as they can get, as it keeps their shareholders happy. D2:R is a one time purchase, aka not a sustained form of income, aka pocket change to them.
