All my characters are gone too. I went to talk to Cain in act 3 on my Paladin lvl 49. Saw a message Waiting for transaction. Thought I was good to go after it completed. I logged off and saw my character is back in Lut at level 47 in Nightmare. So I thought it was a glitch and logged out completely. I went back into the game now no characters at all.

lost my 87 sorc. I think they gonna a big part of the community.
Blizzard just posted on twitter that they know that there is an issue with D2R.
ALL CHARS GONE… There goes my entire week. i found a jah and perfect items that i havnt had in 20 years…

my chars are all gone as well.
Level 80 sorc, finished a baal run. tried to enter the next game… got an error saying “couldn’t find character” something like that… exited lobby. Empty character screen. that is quite a few hours/days missing for nothing. Blizzard better be fixing this, way too many people losing characters.
I too have my characters MIA…I was hoping it was just a PC problem, but plagues Nintendo Switch as well. Looks to be another server issue.

Same , Left a game to create a new one for another nm meph run and everything is gone from online list. The supposed fix is dangerous as im at max characters and creating one could force delete something. This is not an ideal situation. They seriously need to get on this and the growing list of other issues before they get out of control and should be more vocal/transparent with the community about the problems and why its happening so we at least understand whats going on and can wait patiently with no so much panic… They need a new community manager. Not an intern shooting out automated messages that don’t even match the problem we are experiencing.

If my 90 sorc is not recovered im done with blizz.
Cant pay for a game that looses all your progress. how would i ever trust to start a new char if it can just happen again. or play any blizz game.
