I’ve got a long black screen on exiting the game. After that all my characters on online are gone and every time I star the game there is this long black screen at loading the missing character.
pls give me back my characters
This happened yesterday and is happening yet again today, Blizzard apparently diidn’t fix a dang thing.
Your characters are not lost, its just the servers acting up.

Pretty much yeah, your characters will come back but unless they fix this problem every time this happens there seems to be a slight rollback.
For some it comes back… for others… not so lucky… if you are not lucky… here is what blizz says about missing chars/items.
I myself am waiting for ladder S1… fingers crossed issues are fixed.
