it doesn’t say anything about maintenance. clearly the launcher is broken too.

Same here. Beat nightmare then left the game and saw my character still read “slayer” instead of champion (from beating nightmare). Restart the game to do cows and was presented with no characters.

We’ll be performing a live maintenance on Sunday, September 26th from 10:30 AM (PDT) to 1:30 PM (PDT). During this time, players may experience interruptions of service including disconnects, but should be able to log back in.

Chars gone after DC too…

My lvl 74Sorc is gone and so is my low lvl paladin. I just finished mfing heel meph and pindle and left the game to creat another one. Tried to create it and said i couldn’t so i restarted d2 and when i loaded in my characters were gone.

Same here, My characer are gone after got the error “Failed to enter game. this character could not be found on the server”

same, just beat baal. couldnt start a new game so I relogged. and now all my characters are gone

I didn’t dc but was having trouble joining a game. I tried to join the game twice but said something about not being able to communicate via internet. I closed out of the game after I went to my character list. I have a 25 Amazon. I re-open the game and it isn’t showing my character at the moment under Online section. I know you guys are having maintenance. Maybe the charcacters will come back after. I want my 25 amazon back if its lost.

I read it but you have to admit that being able to log in and not seeing your characters, given whats been happening, is pretty alarming.

Same here. DCed, when I logged back in, my character disappeared.

My launcher has no message regarding anything of this sort, No mention of server maintenance either. Just found out about it coming to the forums

if they were going to do maint on things in the back end that would make chars temp disappear, kind of weird to make it a “live” maint and cause so much support thrashing from all the people terrified their virtual pixels are gone.

yeah just had mine wiped for the second time in 2 days. I don’t think its “we cant see them” because of maintenance I’m pretty sure they are gone
