Servers are down… again? I lucked out and finished work early, got two hours before the wife is home before I have to lift my butt from my chair to justify my existence yet again.

Blizzards gotta stop messing with the windows 8 default launcher. It’s almost as if I have two copies of D2R installed or something - NOTHING RUNS IN WINDOWS 8 COMPATIBILITY MODE GUYS. ITS YOU GUYS!
Hire real programmers plz.

D2R won’t run on my SNES Blizzard has to stop messing with my Nintendo, NOTHING RUNS ON MY SNES ITS YOU GUYS!
If you managed to get it to play on Win8 that is pretty good. The only OS supported for D2R is Win10.

I never even used it, I hated how much it tried to be a mobile OS and got frustrated trying to help customers with it (I’m a cable guy), so I decided to just skip it and stuck with Windows 7 until 10 got released.

I bought my parents a cheap Walmart computer some years go with Windows 8 on it, because their previous computer had finally succumbed under the weight of all the malware they downloaded. The Windows 8 one didn’t last very long either, but yeah, I wouldn’t wish that OS on my worst enemy.

I dont have windows 8, I haven’t had windows 8 for like 5 years. Blizzard checks my log file whenever I run the battle.net executable this stupid programming says it’s windows 8 compatibility mode.
It gives me a video graphics error. Everytime. Nothing is set to run in compatibility mode, not the D2R.exe, not battle.net executible but blizzard programming seems to think so?
So everytime I need to use the D2R executable from the game folder for it to launch properly.
One of those D2R nuances.
Once again, windows 10. Right click properties, nothing is set to run in compatibility mode. But if I launch it from anything else, it thinks I have windows 8. Effin werd.
