Updates for everybody,

The process we’re using to un stick characters is still running, but it’s gotten through a really big chunk of players. If your character is stuck online and it’s preventing you from playing games at this point, just try logging in again every 15-30 minutes. It should eventually let you in.

Again, we’re aware it’s not completely fixed for everybody just yet but I wanted to let you all know that it’s recovering and if you keep retesting periodically, you should eventually get in. I’ll let you know once we hear more.

Either way, we really appreciate everybody working with us over the last two days on this issue. Once you folks get back in, I sincerely hope you enjoy the game!

After trying occasionally all day I was able to create a new character and start an online game. I restarted Battle.net after that update and gave it a go and it worked. Leveled characters are still locked though.
