So I made it to Nightmare in offline mode. Got to Countess then did like 30+ runs back to her. Map exactly the same for days (as it should be in offline mode). Then I grab Wirts Leg and… all my maps change. No idea what happened. Is this normal?
Did you change the difficulty in between?

This. If you change difficulties, the maps reset.
This is so far from true it hurts.
Ive reset maps so often to get a better Durance or a better LK.

So, if I unlock nightmare, do a run in it, switch to normal and then go back to nightmare, the nightmare has changed? Offline? Ugh! Wish I had known that before!
Eh its more of a feature than a complaint. If you get stuck with a bad map you can reroll it. I roll my sorc until Durance 3 is just 1 teleport away from the WP - or I make sure I have 2 camps in LK near the WP. Its very handy. If you have to go back to another difficulty to use a reset or a socket and you lose your good map it sucks though lol
