Make “/roll” command available if Loot System is going to stay the same.
That would be pretty funny to witness.
Why Turlok?
I know it won’t work with some people, but with people you know or ‘good’ people it would be useful…
Elabrate please?
Oh I’m all for adding the command. It’s not really necessary for the people who would actually share loot as those groups usually have loot rules set anyways. What would be funny to witness is people spamming /roll in pugs whenever anything remotely useful drops.
The question would be when and who rolls for what.
Or is this a friendly roll with friends to honor system give it to then if they win.
Is it forced roll? Do you force roll on bosses only? A wide scope of items have varying values depending on when in the season you are. Do you stop and roll every 5 seconds for any drops.
If it’s just friendly option to use for fun or a change … sure, if it’s prompted then nope.
You just roll whenever you want.
Firendly roll - yes.
No forcing.
For items you would use only. That won’t be spamming… well would be a spam in the beginning of the game - that’s true.
Yup no harm then, I wouldn’t mind it as I tend to give away a lot.
To expand on that I wouldn’t mind an option to post an item in games that you let people roll to get. Just something that sits in the bottom corner. Mostly passive on the screen anyone can toss into and it let’s a minute or less to choose to go for. One item each at a time or some limit. Dunno just thoughts.
It would be simple to implement and be completely optional without actually changing the original loot system at all, so I think it would be a good idea. It’s just text in a chat box, it would still be up to the players to choose to do something with it.
If someone picks up something they don’t want that multiple other people do, they can say roll and give it to the highest roller if they want. Some people will just do it the oldschool way and throw it on the ground and whoever happens to click faster will get it, but people who want a fair roll could at least do it manually in-game.
Organized groups could also take advantage of it optionally if they wanted to distribute certain valuable drops that way.
Exactly Borg!
I am not a good speaker but you finnished my thoughts!
