Neither the HellForge or monster with the hammer didn’t spawn on my game in River Of Flame map in my game, so impossible to do Forge Quest in this game, need to make new game.
Normal level, offline, second character to attempt Hellforge quest. No Hellforge or monster spawned. The plateau is empty. Does my game end here?
Same just happened to me on normal, ladder.
Sometimes a “fake” hellforge spawns, and it is easy to miss the real one if you don’t check every corner. Most likely you found the fake one and stopped searching
