Act3 bug at Ormus

Hey.

After killing mephisto, i picked up a rare Akaran Targe. I identified it, and tried to sell it at ormus. When i do so, i cannot sell it, and a box pops up with: “I cannot complete that request” and then i can press continue…

I dont know about that, but id rather report it than not doing it.

haha my bad. only meant to imply that’s usually how it goes with games and patches.

True… But, at some point i hope they will listen and do something about it this times. This game is unreal good, so i pray they will fix it!

If its a legit bug that you want to report you should report it in the Bug Report forum, not general discussion.

It definitely is going to get patched quickly because if you try to sell him any rare item 15x that Meph drops, it turns into an SOJ. People running meph for rares just to abuse this. This is a pretty big bug - oops…

The same just happened to me (as in, a few minutes ago, on 20/01/2022. It was a magic Akaran Targe (10%ED, +3 Max Dmg, +19AR) and I couldn’t sell it to any act 1 merchant. I could sell other items, but not this Akaran Targe.

Instead of General, you should post this (move it) to the Bug forum, the proper place to report issues.

So drop the shield on the ground and walk away? Do you really need the extra 5k-35k gold?

Seems like a pretty low priority bug fix to me…

It JUST happened to me, as well. Magic Rondache NM Nihlathak dropped.

Considering this bug seems to be more commonplace among boss drops and class-specific non-white items… It looks like it could potentially involve some bigger issues.

I mean, maybe the item has OTHER problems aside from being impossible to sell. I’m not about to test this out myself by equipping it, though. Too risky IMO.

I’ll just report this and drop it, in case even keeping it stashed is a risk. It’s pretty weak and only worth 355, after all.

I got this too, any vendor, rare Aerin Shield off H Meph. Someome said it turns into SOJ? Lol
