I am thinking about equipping merc with Pride and Duress. How much does the cold damage and freeze target impact CE for corpses. I am a summoner, so I have other minions. I don’t want to waste the cham rune if not going to be good for the build.

I avoid cold damage on my merc since my build relies on bodies for Corpse Explosion along with my summons. If anything, your merc will be your hard hitter while your summons are essentially serving as a “meat shield”. Instead, try for runewords like Bonehew, Obedience , Infinity or, Insight(for a bit more utility) on your merc weapon.
Use your Cham rune on a good socketed helmet so to prevent your merc from being frozen.
So, Obedience has cold damage as well. I will be a while getting runes for Infinity. I am not in dire need of mana regen, so I don’t think Insight would be good right now. I may look to do iron golem on Insight if those changes. I do have a Bonehew which is a good weapon. Only reason asked on Pride, I can stack the auras for the minion’s extra damage.
