So i tried to play d2r like i do every day, and today i see my account has been banned.
I never cheated, exploited or used 3rd party programs in my life.
This is devestating because i invested so much time into this game. I have several +95 lvl characters.
I have no idea what happened and if this doesnt get reverted i can say blizzard does an awful job at banning real cheaters. Even worse, they ban innocent people.
They banned someone who is innocent. This is so wrong and gives blizzard a bad name.
Im still in shock that i cant do my daily playing routine and now i have to consider i wont play d2r ever again because of this.
Please someone help me get this fixed and do justice. This is unfair and so wrong on many levels.
Click Appeal account action, then Appeal penalty for a different game, then “contact us” to submit a ticket. Plead your case the best you can. Being civil about it will not hurt your case.

All i have is 2 pc with several battlenet accounts to have more stash space for my collected items. I do “self rush” as well with them (for a socket quest f.e.). I asked if i can have more than 1 battlenet account and they said as long as i buy the game for every bnet account im fine.
I use them as extended stash space. As far as i know thats not illegal. I even asked before purchasing the game for every bnet acc to make sure everything is legal.

All these extra programs people mention, i dont know where to even get them. My overall computer/program knowledge is very low.
I play the game as intended.
There have been reports of bans being overturned lately. With bans being overturned, it means Blizzard still has work to do on fine tuning their cheat detection methods.
I understand why they are being aggressive, as Diablo 2 is probably one of the most hacked online games ever. Sometimes legitimate people can get caught in the path of the banhammer.
Don’t know whether you are “innocent” or not, but if you did get falsely banned and can’t get it reversed, respect for not tossing more money at them like a tool
I am logged in 1 account per computer. I have 2 computer. If i want to access another account i exit and rejoin with the other one. I never have more than 1 account per computer open.
One time when i was sleepy and it was late at night i forgot to exit and accidentally tried to log in with an account on pc2 i already was logged in my main computer pc1.
The game noticed and shut down (logged me off). I was confused and It continued until i realized i was trying to play on the same account from 2 computers. It was a mistake i didnt noticed and anyone could have.
Im frustrated thinking about the possibility to not play the game again. I love this game so much and i always played as intended. I even considered to stream because i play this game so much. This whole situation hurts man…
Doesn’t that technically fall under abusing unintended mechanics/bugs? Highly doubt you’d get banned for that, but just for the sake of the nonexistent consistency.
Who knows? Maybe they are suddenly banning players for doing something thats been common practice for years… Doesnt mean it was OK all those years, just means they never pushed the button until recently… We wont know, Blizzard rarely acknowledges anything related to their ban process, to not give any info away to the actual exploiters.
Basically, it falls under the item C-ii-1 from blizz EULA
cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard (whether accomplished using hardware, software, a combination thereof, or otherwise), influencing and/or facilitating gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;
