Account banned and curious as to how long it lasts

Eh, it’s something you have to expect given the circumstances… Just ignore it. Numerous people that were banned have come here that basically asked for salt.

nice to see a anti-cheater with a non mob mentality. Wasn’t being sarcastic either

You just have to ignore a large number of folks around here that take opportunities to make themselves feel better by belittling others, dismissing their opinions etc.

It’s not the mistake you make, it’s owning up and how you move forward.

Yeah OW does do hardware bans.

They do on the old D2 original Bnet, so far they don’t usually on modern BNet.

Make sure to remove any and all cheating software from the PC you are playing on. If it is running, even if not in use with the game at the time, you risk a flag for it.

I wish you well in your new start. Guides (on normal public websites) that teach you maps and gameplay will help out. There are only so many configurations and most can be easily memorized.

ty for the feedback appreciate it , and ty to all that helped have a good day

Yep, once you build that maphack in your mind, you’re good. They can’t ban for mental maphacks.

Not really, cheating was always permanent ban dude. Lesson learned I guess.

Glad you can accept it unlike 99% of all the other cry babies on this forum who were affected by bans in some way. Total closure of your account is really the only way to get the message across to players because cheaters don’t seem to recognize how RAMPAMT cheating is across ALL online video games… whether CSGO, WoW, LoL, Overwatch, they all have a huge amount of cheaters. Giving a temp ban is a slap on the wrist, they’ll just cheat again…

I am glad you take it like that and are able to aknowledge you did something you should not do and not cry about it as many others who make excuses.

It is a bit harsh, but I doubt many will agree with you here. Made a mistake and learned a hard lesson. Time to move on.

Na. Its perfect. You chose to cheat, hope you enjoy the consequences of your poor choice.

I would actually be a fan of reinstating accounts if it was a first offense and they actually had it in their hearts to never do it again. But it’s pretty hard to tell if somebody’s genuine or not. So oh well.

tbqh it should have some expletives as well, if i had anything to do with it.

you’re doing the same to those playing fairly. reep what you sew.

Cheating is NOT a “mistake”, it is a deliberate attempt to do what one knows is clearly morally wrong in order to become more powerful in-game or get better cosmetics or what-have-you.

Nah, let them buy a new game and start a new account.

The ole login error 8.

NO.

Pretty simple. Read the email. And then, you’ll have your answer.

True story.
End of story.

Then that is your answer. Simple and to the point.

You knowingly and willingly violated the ToS agreement that you agreed to when you downloaded and logged into the game. You cannot play without agreeing with it, hence, no lack of knowledge argument can prevail.

The Key factor: “KNOWINGLY” & “WILLINGLY”. And you were aware of the possible consequences and outcomes. I do not feel the least bit sorry for you at all.

Now, as such, you face the consequences of your actions.

True story.
End of story.

THIS!!!

And by committing this offense, you have helped ensure some more retirement funds for some low end blizz employee.

THIS!!!

As if …

THIS!!!

Well stated!!!

I will accept my consequences but forcing me to buy the game again on another batte net account is ridiculous. I want to buy it on this account.
