  3. created 7 threads in the D2 (2000) general discussion forum and 7 threads in the D2 (2000) class-specific forums (one each in each class-specific forum)

I think Grim Dawn is the current ARPG (including D2) that got the balance the best in terms of complexity and ease of access. The dual-class system + talent tree + shrines to unlock constellation buffs I thought was a GREAT system. I just wish I found the world more engaging >.>

Not sure is aimed at me as well… although I’m not a pro-PL I am pro some other changes.

I personally only stay active on games I am focusing on… either my main or sometime second game. So, for now, I’m active in Magic the Gathering threads (as I’ve also began playing paper again) and here as well.

Once D2 was no longer in slot 1 or 2 I didn’t focus on it and therefore didn’t frequent forums as forums = time. I still played it a couple of times a month easy but I was playing other games (Grim Dawn, HS, Console Games, FrostPunk, etc.) as primary games so I just wouldn’t frequent a forums.

Don’t mistake forum usage for how much you like a game… there are many reasons people mightnot be active on the forums.

Yeah this is me too, I play MTGa, PoE, tons of games, I’m a huge game geek and proud of it, used to play paper battletech, tons of old paper dice games, etc.

The idea that people who play other things don’t like D2 as much as someone who only plays D2 is kinda silly. Perhaps we have better perspective on gaming in general?

This is entirely possible as I have been a gamer since 1990. Played a multitude of games. But, only a few stick with me D2 is one, Original Doom + Doom2, Counter Strike and Command and Conquer. Btw, I own the remakes of Doom, Counter Strike and Command and Conquer. I guess you could say I am their target demographic.

The current goal is not a new game. We will get a few ‘Quality of Life’ changes but in the end, it will remain as it was and that’s the way it should be. Diablo IV is meant to satisfy players from both avenues (Diablo 2 & Diablo 3) while Diablo 2 Resurrected is meant to be as it was in the good old days.
