If it wouldn’t pierce you could block it with a simple golem?
that does make sense, but still it pierces inifinitely. It’s so satisfying to use in PvM, I only wish its damage would come a little sooner.
This is what my suggestion is all about - not increasing the max damage potential - just making it happen sooner so it’s not as sucky on a playthrough and early end game, so you don’t need to shoot 20 spears to kill a single monster at the start of hell.
I’d be glad with rescaling the spell too, centered around having level 53 spear with all synergies having the same damage, but level 25 or so spear with just 1 synergy maxed having singnificantly higher damage.
i get what you’re saying. A simple solution would be to adjust/add pvp malus for every skill. Like that you could just raise the skilldamage for pvm and raise the malus from 1/6 to 1/x to remain old values.
I’m no fan of making the skilltree easier, right now bonemancer maxes at 91 and has only a few options for curses/golem later on. Good like that. Otherwise he ends up with summons, more bonearmor or more curses.
you can actually block spear with summon tho. Sure the spear pierce, but if you are stacked with your “obstacle” (golem, bear etc) it doesnt hit most of the time in pvp

yeah i know, in my eyes that wasn’t really intended though when the skill was designed back in pre-expansion without teleport, bears and stuff.
