A note for the Devs

Stay awhile and listen.

So instead of asking for change, I just wanted to thank both Blizzard and Vicarious Visions for even giving this community such a long awaited Remaster we never thought we were going to get.

I would like to personally thank every one of both Dev teams for even being able to pull this off and achieve this for us as a community. Not only did Blizzard North state awhile back that they lost most of the source code and D2 was almost never a thing but you guys have come around and made a remaster by reverse engineering it, giving us back what we remember the game looking like as kids, teens and young adults or even older. I would also like to say that no matter the outcome of the final product, I will still be happy to relive my childhood again with this remaster in true 1080p - 4k, never thought i’d be able to play this game like that without mod support ever.

I’m not asking for changes, just want to say thank you to everyone at Blizzard and Vicarious Visions for what a wonderful job they are doing, and let them know, there are a lot of Diablo die hard fans and even new people who never got to exeperience the game before that are thankful for such an amazing remaster we never thought we’d get and that we love you guys and support you on your road ahead to the D2R release. I hope you guys stay safe and healthy and make sure the game is the best you can remaster it to be!

Lots of Love from me and many others in the community! THANK YOU  :heavy_heart_exclamation:

Nice to see a positive post for a change! Agreed, thank you Blizzard/Vicarious Visions!

Good post and agreed.

I feel very lucky to be able to replay my favorite game.

Totally agree. Lurking each day here. Unfortunately alot of negative posts. So excited about the remaster and love how it looks so far. Go VV Go!

Thanks to them , now I check may email
Forum or any source every minute to find any info about what’s going on like crazy… I’m crying to play again

Lovely post <3

I never properly played the original D2 (didn’t have my own PC at the time), and with Resurrected announced I actually purchased the original a couple of weeks ago and I have been completely absorbed by it. I like PoE and I like D3 (to a lesser degree), but D2 just trumps them both. I am not going too serious on D2 because I don’t want to burn myself out by the time Resurrected comes - so I am suuuuper hyped to start a new werewolf in HD graphics!

Hey, welcome to Diablo 2, learn the game in SP so you can start playing Hardcore in D2 Ressurected on battle net  We need more hardcore players.

Thanks! Yep I am just playing single player to get familiar with the game and combat and stuff, feeling more prepares for resurrected. Probably not going hardcore from the start but might give it a go later

Greatly said!

The simple fact this game now exists, is more than enough to give Blizzard and the devs every praise :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey, if you will try hardcore, you can join my discord. I am trying to invite some people to start together on bn when game will be released. Or just can ask any question there about Diablo 2 you have, I will gladly help.

I am still not fully decided what i will do with my discord server, but I welcome anyone friendly who like diablo 2

Awesome post, Shippo. A breath of fresh air in the constant daily stream of others constantly stating D2R will be ruined if devs don’t do x, etc.

Agreed! I think this is the majority of buyers. Just people who are excited to be able to play Diablo 2 again with these beautiful new graphics and a better bnet. Like me. So excited!

Thanks×1 for making D2R.
Thanks×100 if D2R comes out as a great game.
