A guy was on my friends list from a trade, joined my game when I was afk, killed diablo clone, left and blocked me. Is there anything that can be done, or is this just something that happens in online gaming?

yeah, rude is one thing, but I didnāt expect someone on my friends list to jump in and do that while I was gone. General rudeness or even trying to rip people off is one thing but I feel like joining someoneās game at the time of spawn to take their clone is a bit different.

A downside with the new system it seems. Might be best to turn off friends list being able to instant join games, and just send an invite or game name/pass when you want people to join.

Just turn off āfriends list joiningā when making a game and leave it off. Iāve had mine off for this very reason.

I have a feeling a lot of people are trying to accumulate as many friends as possible since the dclone spawn changes. And for this very purpose. Iām certain this isnāt going to be the last time we hear about this lol.

thanks mate! No worries, already got one. And yeah several people suggested setting it to not letting friends join, it just seems silly since they are on a āfriendsā list, so in theory they should be able to join suspicion-free. Its always nice to bounce on forums though, since it reminds me that most of the community consists of fun positive people.

You went afkā¦ They killed the clone, the anni is rightfully theirs. You could have claimed it of you were there, and klicked faster. If you donāt want enyone to join while youāre away, make a password for your game. Learn from this. Next time be more cautious.

It sounds like he already had a passworded game and the person on his friends list just used the āfriends list joiningā option to just hop in and kill dclone.

Ah Yeah ok. Still going afk for that long? While everyone knows there are 
people in every corner just waiting to screw someone. Not a good idea. And not deleteing strangers from friend list, who we traded before? Again be more cautious.
Someone in your Friend list doesnt mean is your friend.
Ppl have 3k friends in facebook for example but irl only 3-4 from all these are trully friends, so dont expect ppl to be kind in general esp when it comes to loot ;p
But sadly is how it worksā¦ lost too many loot cause of ppl like this

Would want to say I am surprised, but I am not really loot greed in games brings out the worst in people.
