most of these ideas are mine or stuff i seen around the web and agree’d with
some are minor some are major, and im sure none of you purists will admit any of them are good lol
1: let magefist spawn every element, including poison and magic damage
2: bone wall and bone prison should not be spam’able. they could be buffed to compensate. only 1 on screen at a time, and a new one cant be cast until the old one is either destroyed or times out. they are used for greifing in PVM but by blocking doors, halls, and sometimes drop, used to trap other players with monsters, or sometimes flooded to try and crash games. in PVP they are either banned or restricted. doing the above fix, fixes all these issues
3: amazon java tree needs a rework, i should not have to take poison or jab to get lightning based skills and the amount of synergy it takes to max them is insane compared to other builds. leaving basically no points for anything else.
4: shape druid needs paladins charge. remove charge from paladin and give it to shape druid (only in shape form)… paladin argueably needs a nerf in pvp anyway.
5: all potions need to happen instantly
6: xbows need the same ias frames as bows and both need pretty heavy buffs
7: throw weapons need buffs, or sockets
8: more runewords need to be unlocked from certain bases.
9: spirit needs to be raised to level 35 or 45 and kicked out of LLD. specially since it can be used on paladin shields.
10: ES needs to be kicked out of LLD. giving an already high mobility build with good dps a huge damage buffer is just to good. if ES was removed from LLD sorc would STILL be a top tier build in LLD purely due to mobility and DPS.
11: all arrows need to proc and every 5 hard points in multishot should give extra arrows to the elemental arrow skills.
12: kite/dragon shields need to be fixed to be able to spawn 4 sockets. most casters never get to go full block anyway so the heavy str requirement of monarch is a huge insult
13: remove the ranged damage penalties
14: increase or remove stamina all together, its really only relevant early game, and only adds frustration and waiting to early levels for no reason. replace stamina pots with minor rejuvs more often, or just allow minor rejuvs to also fill stamina on use
15: allow zon tree skills to spawn on amulets
16: poison dagger should be a throw skill and should also have a chance to proc poison explosion on kill. it would make an interesting build and make use of an unused synergy
17: poison in general needs to love. most of the poison skills are terrible due to long durations and funky mechanics. all poison across the board should have the same exact duration (over 2 seconds) even on charms affixes
18: 2 socket orbs need a generic runeword with +1 skill, 10fcr as a budget option using low level runes. this would give sorc’s a decent 1 handed option with and replaces spirit early on for leveling (tir + ral)
19: crafting needs more options, allow eth items, crafting could be a huge part of end game and give more use to gems as a currency
20: most unique weapons dont even have base IAS on them. and most are woefully low on damage. specially if they dont spawn eth… massively increase the ED% of most of them. and add base IAS to ALL of them.
21: elemental assassin skills are still garbage, the charges need to last forever until used. the damage needs massive buffing, its also 2 easy to go past whatever level you are trying to proc. so just make it so every effect procs once you “finish”
22: more unique gloves need base IAS
23: item checklist on SP
24: rune recipes list
25: show IAS/fhr/fcr breakpoints in the advanced character page. why the hell is it so hard to get IAS information?
26: allow all golems just like druid pets, might allow a new build
27: reduce radius of corpse explosion
28: give blizzard a better spell effect to visually highlight where its going to land
29: make baal spawn his minions randomly in the throne room instead of in the same one spot where everyone focuses their spells. this also makes leeching dangerous which is a good thing. keeps people active and not just auto pilot and space out.
30: allow SP to start a character at level 99 in hell. sort of like the old -act5 or at least return -act5
31: make pvp game creation a thing. when i create a game i should be able to designate if its a pvp game and there should be togglable options (no teleport, no potions, no gold stealing, disable stash, if i want hostile mutual or not, level restrictions for lld, etc)
being able to create an ironman game with disabled stash would be huge
32: make bosses actually hard. most just stand in 1 spot and die.
give them ranged spells, make them immune to slow effects…
33: reduce the number of potions and scrolls that drop. holy hell does this cause clutter for no reason. there are vendors for scrolls and potions. use them.
replace with most gold/gems or generic bases drops, at least these can be sold early on to help get ya going. possible just remove “inferior” drops 99% of the time they are ignored and unused and only serve to cause clutter.
34: show as much info as you can on items… eth, sockets, ias, item level, literally the more information the better. either on hover or in inventory
35: standard of heroes + 3 gems = unique reroll… maybe kinda strong?? SOH + zod = eth unique reroll…?
