90 second game timer

It once was 60 seconds and has now been raised to 90

This ruins many types of farming and is not acceptable as far as im concerned.

Do you intend to address this or is this what we can expect it to remain for the future?

You may as well just add a lil more mf to your runs to make them long enough to have no timer. I am pretty sure they don’t want people farming games too fast and will only continue raising the timer until people make long enough games. My runs are about 6-7 min and I get no timer.

Yes, the timers are unacceptable… But the servers being down for 5+ hours a day is also unacceptable, which is the reason we have the timers.

The upcoming PTR is going to be testing database changes which should hopefully solve the reasons why timers are needed. So keep your fingers crossed and pray that goes well.

As Atma said, add more locations to your run to soak up at least 90 seconds per run, and you won’t see the timers.

In the original game, there is a restriction of 20 games an hour… Keep that in mind.

It was once zero seconds (in OG D2 Bnet), or 3-5 seconds if you wanted to be careful not to get realm down. So…yeah, we’ve gone way, way backwards on this, for some reason.

This actually ruins my Muling.

If I remember I had a certain item… I log onto a character, open the chest and see… not this one. But now I have to wait 80 seconds before the game allows me to log in on another character.
Ridiculous. Even the old servers could handle the load.
