85 area lvl for all map

just make a new difficulty hell2 with 85area lvl to the whole acts

I agree with you. Maybe not all the acts and all the maps, but if I could put many more zones, so that the MF is not so repetitive. Similar opinion regarding experience gain

I guess they already said they might add new zones with 2.4.

Guess all what be to much since a2 tombs would be way to “Strong”

Hell 2 : “Hell Abysses”

  • Accessible fror level 90+ characters
  • All zones lvl 85
  • up to players 12
  • Random monsters type spawn within groups
  • Random attacks for every monsters (eg: lightning on shaman, pit lord charging, souls having ice blast)
  • Monsters cooperating having more auras, healing, teleporting, fading.
  • More monser packs groups x1,5
  • Act bosses with AI, summoning
  • Super chests defended with a bit more drop chance.
  • Less potion drops : the healer will be a needed build.
  • no more immunes but turned to very high resistance on random 1-3 types of damage

They aren’t making new zones or acts in 2.4. They are changing some areas (e.g. Arachnid lair) to lvl85 to give players some more lvl85 areas to farm.

All monsters immune to 90% of all types of damage, ensuring that player groups that attempt this new difficulty are diverse across all classes and builds.

yes ! That could help. If mmore “immunities” let’s turn them to very high resistance. Cap max 90-95% with +50 reserve for example
Then a good conviction aura, and/ or lower resit can make it possible. Eg 95+50-60=85
Added to my proposal above :

  • no more immunes but turned to very high resistance on random 1-3 types of damage

Love it. As long as conviction doesnt cover it all - I want a ddifficulty that is IMPOSSIBLE solo due to immunities, and requires tactical team play. Asking for a lot i know :stuck_out_tongue:

new mods
“Elemental Pierce resistance” Conviction/Cold Mastery/Items pierce effects reduce by 90%
mobs base resists 85% +chance to roll a random immunity
Physical Resistance upped to 80%

…base slightly on stig post…but not on bosses only
“summoner mod” pack leaders with the mod are immune to all dmg untill their OWN minions are all dead(doesn’t include the summoned ones)…summon 2 extra minions every 6 seconds

“Escape Artist”
upon reaching 50% health teleport near nother pack leader with his minions…grant his minions a bonus 10% dmg reduction untill it die

“illusionist” teleport a nearby player to itself,apply a life draining effect on the player and make it appear as an enemy to the other players untill that player health get burn down to 50%

“manipulator” force a player to attack allies for 3 seconds…skills selected randomly

There is no such thing as a level 85 area. Leveled areas do not exist.

Saying an area is leveled means you’re saying that the difficulty of the game doesn’t matter, and neither to the enemies in it which means any item can drop from any difficulty simply by breaking a barrel or opening a chest in that area and not the enemies.

my gosh randy…your a lost cause…i explained it to you in nother thread why ppl call it “area level” bout a week ago…guess that passed in a ear and came out the other instead of getting it to the brain :S

You as players do not get to decide what something is by mass agreement and using the statement everyone knows what it means…A bunch of people all agreeing 1+1= 25 doesn’t make it a fact, and trying to say everyone knows what it means or what someone meant doesn’t change the facts either.

That is a ridiculous angle to even take a stance at.

Why is it you people constantly believe you can say everyone knows what it means and that’s all there is…that isn’t how it works.

You all saying leveled area is false it’s lying and it’s spreading misinformation and no matter how many of you say otherwise it isn’t going to change facts.

geez whats easier…remembering the complex names of every single mobs in the game ?
or of a specific area which spawn groups of mobs of a specific lvl ?

Yes, this hell abyss difficulty level would only work for team real player play.

What do you mean by “new zones”? Do you mean new maps, from like caves or something, for higher level players to farm runes, gear, and other items? Do you mean new acts? Rhat would be something huge, or do you mean upping the levels of some already ingame areas?

I was with this idea, till I started seeing peoples addon ideas.

Not sure if you intent to reply to my comment but i meant that i heard rumors that they will increase the monster lvl to 85 at certain places with 2.4, e.g. in arachnid lair, like mentioned earlier in this thread. This way you can farm other places and not have to stick mainly to e.g. pits and tunnels. At least one decent area with lvl85 mobs per act would be nice i guess.

Not sure how many places will be “upgraded” but i guess we´ll know more soon.
