Blizzard,
I’ve read ur patch notes. Yes I get it queue are healthy for server. But 534queue at pre 9am pst where most ppl still sleeping and eating breakfast??
It’s too ridiculous for that amount of queue. Please do something to improve it.
1min realm down it’s ridiculous too. I get it when ppl creating alot of room. But sometime I don’t get it why failing to join a room get affected for 1min cant join another room?? I didn’t even create the room.
Why aren’t you sleeping and eating?
joys of unified WORLD servers.

Yea now i have time to eat my breakie. Thanks Blizzard
That’s just the US. You forgot about Europe (mid day) and Asia ( evening).
Tbh Queues wasn’t too big of the deals.
I just don’t get it why sometime u fail to join a room get affected by the 1min realm down.
It’s like oh u joined a game which is full then u get the 1min realm down. Dafug was that??
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I logged in at 5:30 am, only to see a massive queue… What?
They really need to separate the login servers per-region, there’s no reason I should have a queue in the USA region at 5:30 AM.
Additionally - the game still crashes a lot. We should have a sign-on token that lasts… 3 minutes so we can log back-in during that window.
No clue…
I am not even trying to play right now, can’t be bothered to deal with this.
I remember sitting in q for WoW classic at release for over 8 hrs while a friend was over at my house. What a fun day we had with drinking and anything else but playing. Not gonna repeat that.
they use different servers so it should not matter
Press Escape to Play Offline
Queues is still acceptable for me. I can do something else while waiting. But the 1min realmdown was the real turn off when u’re trying to play the games.
Imagine u trying to join a chaos or baal run then u failed to join because it’s full. That’s okay but 1min realmdown for that? why? That’s stupid.
They have regional servers, yes.
But the trigger for the queues are obviously in place to protect the global database which is the bottleneck. Meaning if there is high traffic on the global database then all regions will have q’s to avoid crashing.
I think that is their point, entirely.
All three “regions” should have their own login and authentication servers, otherwise… Why have those regions?
This is not what we bought the game for. This was not discussed and is not acceptable. Buy more servers if your system can’t handle the traffic.

All they have to do is offer more stash space for offline characters and I’m offline forever.
That’ll free up at least one spot on the server.
Most likely to reduce costs in hardware and staff.
Well, sure - that was their goal. But that strategy is obviously not working for reliability.
Legacy code still running, with the ability for all regions to simultaneously communicate with their main DB server? You’re gonna have a bad time!
I agree that it isn’t working for a launch of a game because of the huge and ever increasing playerbase. Long term it works because the concurrent number of players will decrease over time due to new games being released, players are burned out from the game, refunds and more…
Therefore it’s unlikely to increase the capacity just for a smooth launch.
