It’s a 4 damn torches of a least played class in a game. I don’t even have it. It cannot be random. Its an algorithm of weighted chances for different classes invented by elitist and community hostile “work as intendent” Blizzard North.
When dealing with randomness in item drops, you will occasionally perceive repeating patterns because of your positive and negative bias of the items themselves. With only 7 possible class torches, there will occasionally be back to back repeats. Now if you had dropped 4 Paladin or Sorceress torches in a row, would you be here complaining about it? No, you’d probably be too busy trying to trade the less perfect three of the four for something else.
Yeah, it’s annoying. I had to farm 14 torches before getting a sorc torch, and I still haven’t seen a barb torch. They should add a recipe that let’s you use 3 banners to reroll a torch. It’s not eliminating RNG, but it does give people who have been farming copious torches with no luck a bit more room to play the odds. It’ll also reduce all that banner clutter, assuming you haven’t started leaving them on the ground.
I’ve got decent 18-17 storch as a first roll. But after that it’s 2x Assa (good since I have trap and MA sin) , Btorch and 5x Dtorch. I have yet to see any z and p torches. Nobody wants damn D torches. You cannot sell them
If you don’t want them, toss 'em on the ground. Or if you do play with others that may happen to be playing a Druid, give them away.
I get more necro torches than anything else, and amazon. The druid torches really do feel useless because I don’t find any of the druid builds interesting.
At this point, I would say burn 2 torches + 3 banners in the cube to reroll to one new torch, but you can’t hold 2 torches. Could even scrap the banners, just burn 2 torches into one new torch solves a lot of clutter issues. Leave those banners on the ground.
Wind druids are fun to play.
:>
Really enjoy my Windy Zoo Druid.
Still say my Bow Druid is the most fun character I have.
