3.3 is objectively a good patch

This latest round of changes were well done, and correctly address most of the issues or oversights from the previous season, while also setting the stage for future changes.

I know a lot of folks are grumbling about it, but between this and the recent structure changes they made to improve update efficiencies long-term, it bodes well for us all.

It’ll be okay.

no way they will release any meaningful updates for season 15 before the blizzcon that will be one month later.

Its bringing a lot of the new stuff from season to non-season; finally. Some of us don’t like losing our stuff and starting over in a game that requires 300 hours to get one good thing that anyone would want in a trade.
(hyperbolic for effect… if you don’t get it, go do another hundred mephisto runs)

As usual, this grifter is wrong. 3.3 is meh, and it’ll be another ladder where most people quit after a week or 2. Then we’ll sit around for 3 months waiting for actual changes that give people a reason to come back and stick around.

Erm.. I don’t think he is? Not everyone will think the changes are enough to get them to play… but not everyone needs changes in the game to play a new ladder season.

Some of the unique items changes are a bit weird though but I’ll live.

I mean if that’s your opinion that’s cool and all, but i find this all within the category of having low standards, Reign of the warlock sold well.. there where happy with it etc.. so you expect a little bit of fire behind all of these things.

There is plenty of stuff they could’ve fixed yesterday and the day before that, UI display countdowns for certain skills, have lower level battle orders not overwrite higher level one etc, battle.net lobby chat is outright a downgrade from LOD, and don’t forget you can still sell torches and annihilus charms if you sneeze on accident.

Nobody at blizzard plays this game lol? and thinks.. well this is annoying lets fix that! well apparently not  there is just no quality to this stuff blizzard is not a small indie company.

Do I want more? Yes.

But I’m willing to wait a few weeks to see what they have planned.

I get that, but not to break yo balls  if they add another big shunk of stuff it will break stuff again and take months to fix again, a lot of basic things STILL even being a problem in LOD are still not fixed, some things even work worse like the battle.net chat part, i think the join lobby list still does this weird thing where it sometimes does not refresh games properly.. ugh.. i mean.. another example is that quest on nightmare and hell outright have bad rewards for example, what is the point of even doing the blood raven quest on hell?? as an example the quest reward for that is only on normal worth it because free mercenary.. like i said to much outdated or not proper thought out stuff from LOD straight up just got copy pasted the list go’s on and on and on.. nobody at blizzard thinks about this stuff? guess not because they do not play there own games it seems.

Its the same Diablo 4 update behavior, you add bugged stuff to the game and it takes months to fix these things, and people pretend like wow stuff is happing while nothing really is going on expect they fix what they broke sort of.. i mean look at the shards and statues update.. back in the old v1.11 they added uber keys.. that is still the same now in terms of drop rate chance.. they didn’t linger on that stuff for MONTHS, they added it in and it was done because it WORKED and was thought out well and moved on :upside_down_face:

I’m not saying everything they’ve done is perfect. It definitely shouldn’t take so long to get things balanced.

I’m also not going to throw a child-like tantrum like so many around here.

Edit: to be clear, I’m not referring to you with that

No you don’t say that, but people could have a just some god damn standards these days.. these companies crap money, they used to build entire expansion packs in a span of a year with smaller teams and less money, the whole meta of this game changed in 3 years from 1.00 to 1.10, they ask 25 bucks for a complete broken character with content that has changed so far what 3 times now? and still does not make sense… 1 single character and that takes months to fix? what will happen if they update an entire act to this game? the game explodes ? blizzard headquarters in full meltdown? i just hope huge updates do not happen.. reign of the warlock proofs they have no real control over what they do, keep the updates to bugs/QOL/item unique updates please.

D2.5R is completely untethered from pre-DLC and I suspect it will be treated as such.

It’s a set of changes that are mostly pointless, with a few targeted nerfs that might end up from “that’s not so bad” to “my build is trash now”, and a few drop rate nerfs that didn’t need to happen

The only positive change I think it has is fixing shard drop mechanics (so they don’t vulture item drops) and making Gheeds more accessible, plus making heralds worth hunting

But I think for most players they’re not excited, they’re just hoping the nerfs aren’t that bad

How does this response even fit within what i said lol?

Yes click the interface button that looks like a down arrow b/c the link above is a lengthy page of critique.

Yup. There’s things that would keep people playing, but loot rarity ain’t it.

There’s tons of bugs. Some 20 years old, some introduced by this very dev team. People want those fixed but blizz won’t even acknowledge them and it’s coming off as blizz doesn’t really care about their game or players now. Especially if they are legit ignoring bugs. They’ve had months to acknowledge and try to fix them. Instead we get a handful of unused uniques getting new affixes that won’t make a difference. It’s a complete joke and people need to raise their standard for what they want to spend their money and time on.

A lot of stuff people even complained about in the LOD times of Diablo 2.

I suppose the main one I want fixed is the Ed/max jewel bug. They should have fixed this when the new colossal ancients jewels got released.
