Which class do you WANT to have lots of 3/20/20s for?
What are the biggest benefits from these? (Yes, the life is obvious, how much of an impact does 20 ar and 3 max dmg really have?)
Ive seen people say bowazon, how about melee classes like smiters and barbs?
Is it better to have 3× 3/20/20s instead of a skill gc, in general?
Is there a thread or resource someone could point me towards that answers all these questions?
Zealots & WW Barbs. Bowazons will use some along with 3/20/3 FRW
GCs can get 10 max damage which is +1 more max damage than 3 x 3 dmg SCs. some people use them but I think the majority of really pimped out Zealots & WW Barbs use full inventory of SCs
good luck getting them. hard enough to find them by yourself especially perfect 3/20/20… people on JSP will easily pay over 10,000 FG for a full inventory (over $300 USD)
Smiters have zero need for 3/20/20. The AR and AD do nothing for them. Only combat skillers, STR, and weird stuff like Grief +DMG.
However Zealers, WW barbs, Bowazons, love 3/20/20 charms. How much they affect each class does differ a bit however.
Pretty much any class that focuses on physical damage. Zealers, barbs, phys bowzons, etc.
The damage and attack rating get multiplied by abilities and passives. So even though 3 max damage looks tiny, it ends up being 20+ after ability multipliers. Same for the attack rating. A small increase leads to a large amount after multipliers. On the flip side, increasing the multiplier by a small amount with +skills leads to a much smaller increase at 3 times the inventory space needed (since skiller is only on grand charm)

If the class focuses primarily on physical damage, yes.
The only time you really get to have a full inventory of 3/20/20 is when you’re playing in non-ladder and you don’t do ladder. In ladder those charms cost WAY more and you’ll end up not feeling like it was worth all the investment.
I mean… unless you’re rich irl and don’t mind spending hundreds of dollars on charms you don’t need to do the content you want to do.
True. Even currently on nonladder, a perfect 3/20/20 can get multiple ists pretty easily.

i haven’t seen it explained exactly like this so:
imagine your one handed weapon has 300 max dmg, or thereabouts. this is typical for endgame at least a ballpark. then, each 3/xx/xx charm is like having 1% more damage overall. since the + damage from charms is equivalent to +damage from other sources, and weapon dmg, in the dmg calculation order. so, an entire inventory of these small charms = almost 40% more damage!
Does a max “steel” sc have any value? Or even 30ish ar?
You absolutely will need +damage charms if Vengeance is your main skill.
2 3/20/20’s are worth a jah in sc right now….
