These global auth servers need to go. It’s completely ridiculous to deal with a queue on offpeak hours when you’re playing on a US server.
Sounds like we’re gonna need login bots for D2 at this rate- Alexa, set Diablo 2 login 1 hours before I wake up.
Absolute disaster.

6AM west coast…353 queue. It hasn’t moved in 5 minutes.
Just to think this game is 20 years old and never had this problem to start with, just imagine how much garbage D4 will be. Game developers love to screw the people over now by not providing the service or the product they promised.

They cheaped out and oversold D2 and will continue to oversell D2. They don’t have the infrastructure to support it but will penalize all of their customers by continuing to sell it. That’s on top of the fact that every patch they’ve added since release has made the game worse- from the initial map overlay bug to the ongoing and worsened client instability

I have now been in que for 1 hour and have not entered the game yet.
366 no movement for an hour, started at 8 am EST
i mean im not defending blizzard managers severely underestimating popularity not buying enough servers…
but they have been clear… this is only a temporary workaround… its this or you cant play at all.
blizzard IT is tring as best as they can without the servers they need while they try to get them in a massive chip shortage.
( i help assemble the machines that build semiconductors)
Lol clearly you don’t know what temporary fix means in the dev world.
Tech department offers “TEMPORARY” fix…
Managerial staff see permanent low cost solution…
Investors laugh their A**ES off and sip that sweet Champaign!

Exactly my friend. At least someone knows how it really works lol

It’s like they keep selling tickets to a flight that’s already oversold instead of using the money to bring in more planes to try and get everyone where they paid to be, when they paid to be there by.
At this point, I’m starting to believe this plane doesn’t actually have 300,000 seats…

I am 236 in queue and it has NOT moved in 30 minutes. Guess I can’t play this morning. Blizzard… thanks. This was my 2-hour window to play before people wake up and start needing things. People DON’T have hours to wait around to play a game when they sit down to play. FIX THIS BS. We paid for this whether you value us as clients or not. But this is a slap in the face. Still 236.

I don’t buy it. At least not from a company the size of Activision/blizzard. It’s sort of like suspending someone’s paychecks but telling them it’s alright, it’s only temporary. Who would ever do such a thing? Okay, okay, the government… But besides them. Yeah, not cool, not cool at all. How am I supposed to put shakos on the table?
9.38 and 212 crashed from this moring 200+ took just over 1 hour to count down but wating more then 10 mins on a que this is low.
The Underpants Gnomes would be proud!
All weekend is like this for the last 2 weekends. 100+ queues at all times of the day and night. Even at 2am.
I uninstalled last night, gonna try to figure out PoE
Crash → queue → create game → oops forgot to check for difficulty → recreate → can’t connect → finally in → crash
