Am i the only one disappointed with the set changes beeing mostly for normals sets?
I expected some changes to elite sets, so that it hurts a bit less to use them.
Like adding 33% pierce to mavina, which is a huge disadvantage over uniques.
Or totally reworking the aldurs set boni that always felt like last minute hasty solution.
Many great other changes though

Nope. I’m disappointed too. They should have tried to bring the other sets up to the same level as tal’s set imo. Like you said, Pierce would have been nice on mavina’s. Aldur’s weapon needs ED on the weapon itself, as the damage is super low. IK could have used a melee damage bonus. Gris set could have used some FCR or something else. I feel like they could have done a lot more to the lesser used sets.
Absolutely, tal’s is an really well designed set, you can still outperfom it with uniques / runewords, but the gap is not that big.
I also was hoping sets would get useful.
I’d prefer for a bunch of elite set items to get sockets. That way sets have a small level of players choice customization.
I was definitely hoping for more set changes. Bringing the other high level sets up to tals level or so.
You can thank to the Doommongers that wents nuts worrying if they upgrade the class sets, it will turn to “D3”.
