RDR2 blew me away on ultrawide, most games I just find it much more immerisve as it fits a person’s field of view well I find. Just tiers to them, first aspect and then refresh…tons of other choices like panel but just don’t buy some no name.
I’ve had ultrawide aspect ratios for about a decade now, back at the start putting 3 1080p monitor’s together for Eyefinity. I played multiple racing games on that and ARPG’s alike. Just a couple years ago I picked up the CRG9 so it’s just 1 49" display and I’ll never go back. It’s just such a different experience to be had. Though granted some games it’s actually a negative at times with all the information in front of you at one time.
Later down the road when I upgrade again I’ll probably retire the CRG9 to a dedicated racing setup. My ideal next setup is another 49" super ultrawide and a 21:9 maybe 32" screen to alternate on depending on the content/compatibility.
so i’ll be honest i’m kind of clueless on ultra wide. I have a 4k monitor (3840x2160 resolution) is that “ultrawide”? will i have black bars or normal full screen?.. just curious as 4k and ultrawide confuse me lol
You won’t have black bars as that’s a 16:9 ratio. You’re good!
No Ehpic, it’s not. It depends on the aspect ratio (so the measurement width vs height). 4k is going to be a 16:9 screen.
Ultrawide starts out at 21:9 to super ultrawide which is 32:9 and past that.

no it is not it’s just wide screen you will not have black bars unless you choose to use an ultrawide aspect ratio for something and then you would have black bars on top and bottom but out of the box no you would not have black bars.
Ultrawide is based off aspect 3840x2160 is 16:9 so 16 wide by 9 high, ultrawides I think by definition are 21:9 so it would have pixels like 5040 x 2160 if at the same pixel density. Adding about 24% more view left to right.

the only concern I have with money is mine because at the end of the day, I don’t have any high interest balances to pay off for monitors for Diablo 2. Another’s irrational debt isn’t my problem 
Lastly, if you’re silly enough to think once I realized my 49 inch monitor was far too big for comfort in my current setup that I simply dumped it into a box and ate the costs… then this is a phenomenal example of why those like you pay 29.99% interest for a Diablo 2 monitor.
They have these things called return policies and those with average intelligence return the product they don’t want, get a replacement and in the case of mine when it’s a downgrade, bank the rest (to gain interest).

I don’t make game videos, currently working on my own game. Doing that on a single 16:9 is possible but slows me down dramatically. I must got to you if your just imagining scenarios in which I anger you.
