My family and I have made the pilgrimage to every Blizzcon since '05
We spent heart-attack-inducing years trying to get incredibly scarce tix with the occasional SCV’s telling us the system was broken down… to the same SCV’s telling us we were first in line… only to lose out on tix because they sold out instantly… We would then have to buy tix at the height of the Blizzcon scalping craze… buying them at 300 to 400 or so, if I remember for like a 175 ticket?? Then when the Charity Ball started, we ended up buying 6 or so extra Charity tickets each year because we ALL bought tix at the same time and said we would sort it all out later. Good TYMES! FLURKING AXIS!!
Anyways…
It was a cultural experience.,. the FORUMS were ALIVE! They were DYNAMIC and had hundreds of threads… though as a native Californian, I found the ad-nauseam PRAISE of In-n-Out Burger RIDICULOUS, because we ALL know Tommy’s has the best burgers.,. but… whatever…
But I DIGRESS!
The charity ball was totally worth it each year, meeting the Blizzcon family, getting my C64 Battle Chess and other early Silicon & Synapse games signed by Mike Morhaime and his team/family at my table when he would come around to say hi was PRICELESS!
Now it is a Microsoft/Activision event…

For hardcore players that’s not an option. The point of this forum is to voice your likes and dislikes and make your voice heard. If you don’t say anything then there not going to know. And coming from a veteran wow player who’s been to EVERY ONE!.. I mean, who is this guy think he is saying “just don’t go if you don’t like it”… clueless.
Hey man, if you want booze and they had it there before maybe they will up there game, could also be politics, maybe they lost there license to sell it or something. Perhaps look into helping them and setting up a stand next year! Get your license to sell and see if they will let you set up! You would make all that money plus some back all those years you went, and you could dress like a dwarf for fun too!
Constructive criticism is the way friend, think of ways to fix the problem not be the problem there merlock

Speaking of changes I’m actually looking for the forum post for “no Q and A” for wow… have y’all heard there not having there staple q and a this year… wow, scared of the community are they? I thought metzen was back, let him answer! Don’t be scared blizz, it shows. How sad that the group you cut out of your show is the ones who pay your bills! Thanks for the slap in the face blizz. It was my favorite part putting the dev’s feet to the fire with REAL questions, not fabricated nonsense
