Hello everyone!
Tuesday, Dec 2nd Update:
Our engineers have continued to resolve the currently identified issues and we believe everyone should now be able to successfully link their BlizzCon Pass.
However there may still be edge cases we haven’t identified yet! To help with monitoring and collecting new examples for our engineers to review, we have created a new forum category which does not require a linked Pass:
============
Monday, Nov 24th Update:
Current known issues:
- Some Passes are returning an error indicating that the Serial Number could not be located.
- Some users reported that they encountered this error when using Auto-Fill to fill in the Tixr Email Address field. Manually typing the full email may help with this error.
- Email address field is currently Case Sensitive. Please make sure the formatting of your email in this field matches the formatting of your email on Tixr.
Our engineers completed additional work overnight to repair Passes that had been transferred prior to November 18th and did additional checks to look for other Passes that may have been in a bad state.
We have see some additional successful linking since these fixes were completed, however we will keep monitoring reports.
To help with monitoring and collecting examples for our engineers to review, we have created a new forum category which does not require a linked Pass:
Please keep in mind that Topics or Posts created in this category which are not related to BlizzCon Pass Linking and troubleshooting linknig errors will be removed by the moderation team.

Wednesday, Nov 19th Update:
Current known issues:
- Passes that were transferred before Nov 18th may still be unable to link to Battlenet Accounts when using their new Serial Number.
- Some Passes are returning an error indicating that the Serial Number could not be located.
- Some users reported that they encountered this error when using Auto-Fill to fill in the Tixr Email Address field. Manually typing the full email may help with this error.
Thanks for the continuing reports. We have been able to identify additional issues with transferred Passes and our engineers have deployed another update that should help newly transferred Passes be linked as expected.
This fix is not retroactive, meaning additional work is still needed to repair Passes that were transferred before yesterday. This is in progress.
We would also like to re-emphasize that linking your BlizzCon Pass to a Battlenet Account is not required to attend BlizzCon. If you have a Pass in your Tixr Wallet, you have your Pass to BlizzCon! ![]()
Linking is how we are providing access to the BlizzCon forums and how we will be delivering In-game Goodies to in-person attendees in the future, so we definitely would like everyone to link their Pass and we will continue working to resolve the issues being encountered!

Monday, Nov 17th Update:
Engineers completed a round of bug fixes on Friday that were rolled out over the weekend.
- Passes should now indicate when they are successfully linked by showing “Pass Linked” on the BlizzCon website.
- Passes that were transfered should now be available to link using the new Serial Number and the email address of the recipient’s Tixr account.
============
Monday, Nov 11th Update:
Our website engineers are continuing to investigate the reported problems, including:
- Successful links not showing the expected “Pass Linked” on the BlizzCon website
- Transferred Passes are unable to link at this time
- The BlizzCon website telling users it was unable to locate match to the Serial Number provided by the user.

We’re aware of users encountering an error when they go through the process to link their BlizzCon Pass to their Battlenet Account.
If you have the buttons to create a New Topic or Reply to existing topics, then you have successfully linked your Pass.
