Blizzcon Merch Store Up

Looks like the merch store is up for orders. There’s a few items I noticed were missing:

  1. A Blizzcon 2023 pin. This has been a staple since I started going in 2010, so it’s disappointing to see it not listed. Also seems there’s fewer pins to me.
  2. Badges. I know they were relatively new, but they were around for a few years. I wonder if they’re ending these badges.
  3. Posters and art prints.
  4. The larger statues.

Now I know that things will be added after the opening ceremony. Usually some items of merch that has art in regards to new announcements, so they could still show up. We’ll have to wait and see, but for me, not seeing the normal Blizzcon pin is slightly disappointing since it’s one of my must haves.

We were not impressed by the items being sold. We spent a LOT of money on merch on previous years. If this is it, we probably won’t get more than 50 bucks worth of any at all. I noticed the pin wasn’t there too.

It does look like a few more items were added since I posted.

Plus don’t forget: there’s also usually stuff that has to do with the announcements that won’t be unveiled until after opening ceremonies.

10th anniversary of pins is just zinc reprints? What a cheap cop out.

The pins have always been a zinc alloy, and I don’t see any reprints that I’ve noticed.

Also, in previous sets, the pins were 2d and colored, with the rare ones being 3d and gold.

This set is 3d metallic chrome, and the rare ones will be 3d and onyx.

I ordered the “Blizz-A-Mari” plush. I really like the BlizzCon colors on the plush and the box it comes in looks awesome. It will sit on my desk for sure when it arrives. :slight_smile:

I’m a bit sad that the BlizzCon goodie bag attendees will receive are not for sale online this year though.

It might be when it gets closer to the convention date, or even during or after the convention.
The Blink sale for the in-person attendees hasn’t even started yet.

No information on what’s in the bag or if the goodie bag is just the bag - it is odd they aren’t selling the bag in the store which brings hope they are hiding something.

They never did tell us what was inside the bags anyways. All they do tell us is what the main item is (in this case the backpack) but not if anything else comes with it.
I think 2019 was the only time (at least unless I’m mis-remembering) that we didn’t get extra things, but it’s when we got the Orc/Footman statue, with an option to purchase the other.
