Ticket information, community competition announcements, and more.
Super excited about this news. Would like some clarification if there is a limit to the number of transactions we can do. I know we can buy 2 tickets per transaction, but didn’t see any language limiting the number of transactions.
The limit is two tickets per transaction, however, you could technically get back in line and purchase two more tickets if they haven’t sold out in the first wave yet.
Alternatively, you can also attempt to purchase two additional tickets during Wave 2 on July 22.
Hope this helps!
Was excited about the news then seen the information about the Blizzcon “virtual ticket” I was wanting to know when the virtual ticket for the goodies would be available and what would the price be on that because some people can’t fly out to cali and pay for the blizzcon ticket for $299 for in-game goodies.
Hi,
I’ve logged into my AXS and I’ve searched for Blizzcon but nothing was found. Is that normal? Will the event only appear on the date they go on sale? I live in the UK and I’m worried I don’t see the event because of that.
Thanks
“The Virtual Ticket will be back as an optional purchase, featuring in-game goodies, early access to exclusive BlizzCon merch, and more.”
Viewing the event will be free, however. Details to come at a later date.
There is a link (to this page) in the original article on the Blizzcon website. Scroll down to the section that says “Ticket Purchase Process”
Thank you for the info, that’s what I thought!
Why only 2 tickets? In the past we were able to purchase 4, we have 4 in our group this year. Hopefully we can get 2 sets of tickets but I dont see why the reduction of two is necessary.
Regarding the Food and Beverage Policy and the convention being an alcohol-free event. Is that just in regard to outside alcohol coming in? Or will there be none of the usual drink carts in the convention center?
I’m wondering the same on this. Was nice to be able to grab a drink and sit in on a panel
Maybe to make it harder for people who buy extra tickets to sell at a profit. It’s difficulty to predict if this will make it easier to buy tickets. Before if you weren’t close to the front of the queue then the tickets could sell out before it was your turn. Now, given the same place in the queue it will be less likely to sell out before your turn.
You are correct I accidentally double booked actually triple booked and wound up with six tickets!
