Wrongfully Removed License

Hello, in 2018 I requested a refund for Warcraft 3: Reforged Spoils of War and left it at that for awhile, I came back to my old account to find that my CD keys and bought copies of Warcraft 3 reign of chaos and the frozen throne had been wrongfully removed with the refund of the reforged graphics.

I would like my license restored of my lawfully bought copies of those games restored on your battle.net app, then I may reconnect with old friends online in warcraft 3. I am not requesting a free copy of Reforged, I am simply requesting that what was taken from me by mistake returned.

I was directed here by blizzard customer support after many days of back and forth tickets. I hope to hear a reply soon, thank you for your time ^^

Note that MVPs don’t work for Blizzard and I can’t see your account history. I can try to provide some info though!

A refund will only remove the game key you paid for, and any benefits or related products that came with it.

If you had your old separate CD keys that you physically added, they should still be on your Battlenet account. It would be very very strange for those to be removed. Normally they are down at the bottom of the Games and Subs list.

Please, be sure you are on the SAME Battlenet account that you initially attached them to. Some people have more than one Bnet, often with similar email addresses. Logging into a different Battlenet account would explain why licenses might seem missing.

If your keys are not on an old account, and not counted as “claimed” because of it then you can STILL install your old CD keys and attach them back onto your account. Go get your copies from wherever you put them.

You have until NOVEMBER 21st, 2025 to add those keys to your Bnet account.

Common Problems

* How do I install Warcraft III: Reforged

• I want to install Warcraft 3 with my old cd key!
• Can I play Reforged if I already own the classic Warcraft 3?
• I can’t access Warcraft III Reforged graphics while I own the classic version

To install and play Warcraft III (Reforged or Original):

1. Install the Battle.net App
2. Click on Games at the top of the App
3. Click All Games on the left and find Warcraft III: Reforged

If you own Warcraft III: Reforged, you will see the Install button on the bottom left. If you don’t own Warcraft III: Reforged, you will be offered to purchase it, but this is optional.

I have the original CD-keys, I don’t want to buy Warcraft III: Reforged

If you own the original Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos or Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne CD-keys and do not wish to buy Warcraft III: Reforged, you can still install and play the game through the Battle.net App.

Important: You must have redeemed the original CD-keys on your Battle.net account. Original CD-keys will no longer be redeemable after November 21, 2025.

1. Log out from the Battle.net App
2. In the Battle.net Login screen, click the cogwheel icon
3. Click Continue Without Logging In

After you installed, you will be required to log in. Note that, because you do not own Warcraft III: Reforged, you will not have access to HD graphics.

Thank you Miss Cheetah for replying, however this is a problem only blizzard themselves can solve. I have gone though all of those steps you listed below with customer support and they did not work, so they told me to come here and wait for a GM.

I still have my CD Keys, and have it installed on battle.net, however it gives me a 6:10 error no matter how many times I seek to log in. I have also followed steps they gave me for the 6:10 error and it still has not worked.

I am simply waiting for a GM to reply like I was told to, as it seems to not let me in despite having proven that I still should own Warcraft 3 classic, I want to play online without the reforged graphics. X.X
