Microsoft has recently released its Windows Package Manager and it has turned out to be very convenient and useful. However some applications can not work with it properly due to incorrect version numbering identification by the OS. You can see that the Battle.net version number is marked as “Unknown” (screenshot number 1). In the apps section in settings there is no version number either (screenshot number 2), so it seems like Battle.net doesn’t report its version number to the operating system. The other example is Google Chrome which reports it’s FULL version number (screenshot number 3) and doesn’t have any problem with installation and upgrade in Windows Package Manager. Please make Battle.net report its version number to Windows
