Bonjour,
Merci.

Hello,
I noticed that for a few days, in the Windows system logs, I have the same error that runs in a loop (between 3 - 10 sec) when the Battle.net application is active:
Source - Schannel
The certificate received from the remote server was not validated correctly. The error code is 0x80092012. TLS connection request failed. The associated data contains the server certificate.
What does it mean and how to solve it? Thank you.
Cordialement,
Best regards.
Hey, ChrisPhoenix! Thanks for the details here. This means that a certificate required for the Battle.net to work is missing. This typically requires manually reinstalling the Digicert SSL certificates. It’s a bit advanced, but could you see if the following steps resolve the issue?
- Go to https://www.digicert.com/digicert-root-certificates.htm
- Find DigiCert Assured ID Root CA under the Root Certificates section and click Download DER/CRT
- Double-click DigiCertAssuredIDRootCA.crt and click Open
- Click Install Certificate…
- Select Local Machine and click Next
Note : If a User Account Control dialog box pops up, click Yes
- Select Place all certificates in the following store and click Browse
- Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and click OK
- Click Next
- Click Finish
Bonjour,

Hello,
Thank you for your quick response, however after installing the certificate following your procedure, I notice that the problem persists even after a reboot.
However, I notice that the problem comes from third-party anti-malware software that blocks access to the client application.
The application in question is Shelblock.
If other people have this kind of problem, you should think about disabling it.
Cordialement,
Best regards.
Glad to hear that you were able to find a resolution to the issue! Thanks for sharing, ChrisPhoenix!
