WarCraft 1 only had English voice acting, but WarCraft 2 was released in multiple languages back in 1995+96.
I remember it playing with German voice acting, it was well synchronized and kept the iconic style. For nostalgia, I would like to experience the game the same way I did back then.
The GoG version does have German and French voice acting:

Please, if necessary get together with GoG on this issue and add the missing languages to the Remaster.
I think only the battlenet edition got released in multiple languages, that edition is from 1999. And I am sure previous games only got released in English since Starcraft (1998) was the 1st pc game from Blizzard released in multiple languages and since wc2 bnet edition is from 1999 it got the same treatment. Anyways, yeah idk why they didn’t use the different languages they had used with the battlenet edition.
I’m an spanish speaker and I played the game in Spanish back in the day, but now not even GoG offers the client in Spanish.
I played WC3 in 1996 in German, I can still remember a well-spoken sentence from the mission briefing: “Findet diesen Verräter Gul’an und bringt ihn zur Strecke!”
I played WarCraft II: Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal with texts and audio fully localized in French, then, after a couple of years, I bought the fully Italian localized Battle.net Edition, I don’t know if there was an Italian version of the first releases too, but surely the games were available in more languages, without doubt there were the French and German versions as I remember them in the stores and I saw videos from 2012 with the Spanish localization too.
It was the first WarCraft: Orcs & Humans that was released only in English at the time.
