Why Do We Wait WEEKS for simple changes?

A Quick Message to the Development Team-

I know you guys have a lot on your plate. I get that. That is zero excuse for missing CRITICAL BUGS ALL SEASON THAT BREAK THE GAME. You work for a multibillion dollar company for a game that has been slowly dying for years and is still one of the most popular MMOs on the market. You’d think you’d actually want to make a better game, but no. Too focused on a bunch of bs that your core player base doesn’t give a s*** about. I’ve been playing for 15 years. The game has had its ups and downs but never in the ENTIRE TIME I’VE PLAYED has a dev team been this sloppy. Simple mistakes go unfixed for WEEKS. I’m mainly talking about PvP.

Example: the Shaman bug that shot enhance to an S tier class because their burst window was doing double the damage. 3 weeks to fix.

Example: Shadow Priest having “too much damage” due to a bug with shadowy apparitions. It took 3 weeks as well to fix, and instead of supplementing with a buff, they make the change and shadow goes from A tier to a C tier class, only to buff them a month later.

EXAMPLE AND THE REASON THIS POST EXISTS IN THE FIRST PLACE: SHAMAN HAS HAD A BUG THE ENTIRE EXPAC WITH FLAME SHOCK. YOU DIE WITH IT ON AND IT STAYS ON FOR THE FULL DURATION EVEN AFTER YOU RES. What the hell is that man? That is literally the simplest bug in the world to fix and its been like that since the start of the expac and it quite literally loses fights for anyone that uses a stealth opener.

It’s honestly embarrassing. I love this game, but when simple obvious mistakes go on for so long, it really shows the amount of “care” you guys have for the game. It screams “I’m just here for a paycheck” when thousands would kill to be in your position. Shape up.

I think you are a bit lost as to which forum to give feedback on. This forum is for the API used by third party websites, apps, and addons for Blizzard games.

There are no game developers here. If you want to give feedback about a specific game, you need to go to the forums for that game.

Also, keep in mind that not everything you think is a bug, is actually a bug. They also prioritize bugs so things you might feel are a priority, the devs may not feel are quite important enough to push to the top of the list. They may also be more complicated than it seems at first, and that may delay things.

Regardless, you will want to head for the forums of the actual game you want to give feedback on.
