I’m pretty sure this is a bug. While playing D2R today, I attempted to craft the “Steel” runeword by placing “Tir” and “El” runes in that order into a superior 2 socketed cudgel. It didn’t work. The Arreat Summit runeword list says any 2 socketed sword/axe/mace. This same runeword did work on my Flail about a week earlier. I have a screenshot comparing the two. Very strange.

For D2R, you need to use the D2R forums. Use the most appropriate category. For example, to report a bug, use either Bug Report if you’re on a PC or Console Bug Report if you’re on a Console.
