I’m getting this error when I click update for both retail and classic. I clicked the hyperlink, I see the list of things to check I’ve done all of that. What else can i try? I’ve also been getting a similar error saying it had lost a connection.
“We’re having a problem transferring data. Check your internet connection and try again”
I fixed mine by opting out of battle net beta, restarting and then that worked for me. I think my standard version of Battle.net was un-updated, so I plan on not updating it for a while until this problem is fixed, as I think potentially updating it could cause a problem.
You could always just run the executable of the game you want to play, i.e. WoW or something. Just kinda sucks.
When clicking the button to update “World of Warcraft” I get the error “BLZBNTAGT00001399 - We’re having a problem transferring data.” I’ve seen this error several times, and it seems to be related to issues with Agent.app. Killing Agent.app in the task manager lets me complete the update, perhaps restarting Battle.net will have the same effect.
Agent.app is still having a serious memory leak, and in a matter of days it will consume several Gb of memory.
