Have tried:
Scan and repair
Reinstalling Game
Reinstalling Launcher
Move game install folder
Launcher in admin/not admin
Game in admin/not
Additional command line argument clicked or unclicked or with the text that people recommended
Opening directly from the modernwarfare.exe (this gives a dev error)
Cross launching from vanguard (this gives a dev error)
End task on battle.net update agent
Restart computer
Modified install to include MP or not (does nothing)
Region changed to asia, europe or the US.
Error Tag: BLZBNTAGT00000960
Edit Also this tag for me BLZBNTAGT00000BB8
Any supposed “fixes” that I’m missing? I’ve tried these all in multiple combinations multiple times.

you have to relocate the game file inside that PC files , I saw that in taison tv in youtube is a Spanish youtube… good look with that

click the gear icon, show in explore, click on call of duty modern warfare, scroll down to modernwarfare, right click and run as admin… works for me

I got the same problem … i did scan+repair + reinstall warzone + battlenet + nvidia drivers + pc restart … still got the same problem since the update to the new pacific warzonemap…

Confirmed… This is what I did and this works. Dont go to Battlenet and click play, i get the error everytime (which started today)
This does not work if it needs to update. 100% of the time it will fail.
After Reinstallting Bnet luncher it worked without that error message tough but still the game closes without a message.
but since that did not work for you i dont know :O…
other suggestions are also not very helpful so sry for my not helpful one

Also having the same problem, but if you go into show in explorer and open the game from there it will launch

I have the same issue as OP and have tried all the same things.
Adding my voice to the chorus.
Anyone know some mods to tag to get this some attention?
It will not. Already tested that and confirmed it does not, will not, and can not work. The game needs to update. You cannot skip the updater if having this bug.

I’m having the same issue. Tried all of the above and get BLZBNTBNA00000012.
Weirdly my vanguard works perfect!
Launching the game directly from the ModernWarfare.exe in admin mode works for me. None of the other suggestions did anything.
@Sharden, do you think this is worth trying?
I’m trying it, I’ll report back if you want to let me be the guinea pig.
