Warzone Update Stuck at Random Percentage with Update Loop

2020-08-26T18:00:00Z
When i update warzone it will update about 95-97% then at a certain point it will stop progressing but download speed will still be shown in the progress bar (Download Speed will go up and down like normal but with no progress).
If i pause the download and start again it will skip from that point to the end or close to the end and finalize but instead of Play i get Update option again.
Once i hit update it will now try to start but will show an error. This is happening on every update since season 4.

Tried changing the Install directory, I tried Reinstalling Battlenet App , i even reinstalled Windows 10 for it. Nothing Worked.

Hey there Lampard,

Interruptions in downloading update data have a few causes ranging from corrupted local files to a network-related problem. Since you’ve already tried re-installing Windows, this would indicate that the issue is probably network-related in some way. Try the following to narrow this down further:

  1. Try a DNS Flush to clear out any corrupted or stagnate data.
  2. Fully update or temporarily uninstall security programs which may be interfering with your connection to the patching server. More information on troubleshooting security applications here, if curious.
  3. Test an alternate network such as a mobile hotspot to determine whether the problem is isolated to your current network.

If the download finishes on an alternate network such as your phone’s mobile hotspot or a VPN, at that point we can be sure that the issue is isolated to the primary network. In these situations, ultimately we can only recommend contacting the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance determining what is causing the issue to occur on that specific network. They might need to adjust network-level security/firewall settings on your modem or temporarily replace the device to narrow it down further. I always recommend requesting to be forwarded to a “level 2 or level 3 technician” when contacting the ISP since the front-line representatives typically only have access to basic diagnostics and troubleshooting tools.

I hope this helps you get back in-game smoothly!

VPN worked…but not with the file i initially tried to update. Scan and Repair did not work.
I had to download the 1.26 initial season 5 backup and then use a vpn to install the rest of the game. It is working now.
Also turned off auto update…cause i know it will destroy the game again .
Hope my ISP fixes the issue soon.
