Warcraft II BNE Global Server crashes my system

Continuing the discussion from Warcraft II BNE Global Server crashes my system:

I recently installed Warcraft II BNE through the Battle.net App, but every time I try to connect to the Global server in multiplayer, my entire system crashes and forces a restart.

I’m running Windows 11 Home with all the latest system and graphics updates. At first, I thought it was just a random crash, but after it happened three times in a row I stopped trying.

I wanted to check out BNE since I rarely see anyone on Warcraft II Remastered. Is the Global server still active, or is this a known issue?
