Any solution? Same problem here… I just finished the WC 1 campaign and would suck a lot if I had to play WC 2 with no sound
Hey I have found a way to make it work: it still doesn’t work with my external sound card (Universal Audio Volt), but it works when I plug headphones directly in the computer using internal sound card.
You probably never installed your audio drivers.
Then do it.
You can use Driver Booster to help yourself if you don’t know what to do.
Ok, the issue for me was that that I did not have Media Feature Pack installed for windows.
I am using Windows 11 Pro N. I think the ‘N’ was my choice, maybe to have less bloat on the OS (don’t remember). Anyway, that version comes without Media Feature Pack installed.
To install it on my system I did the following:
I was actually trying to solve another issue where my StarCraft II would crash immediately after startup, when trying to play the intro video. It was caused by the same thing. Solving that issue, also solved this one .
